25+ years experience in strategy and quality management, including as a Big Four Director. Member of various educational boards in England. Former executive manager and founding member of 3 universities in the Middle East, including KAUST, which remains among the largest universities in the Middle East, and is the first mixed-gender university campus in Saudi Arabia.

Entrepreneurial professional specialised in new business development. 25+ years experience in managing the growth of a variety of business across a variety of sectors. Founder of Egyptian chain of ophthalmology centres: in the first 10 years, operated over 7 branches, employing 300 ophthalmologists and performing 30,000 operations per year, with an annual revenue of $25 million. Grew chain of opticians at steady rate of 15% per annum. 10+ years experience providing strategy advisory to start-ups in the healthcare sector across the Middle East.
